How long does it take to prepare for a qualification?

All of our qualifications are distance learning/home study programmes, so it is at a candidate's discretion as to how long they take studying and when they take examinations. The Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for each level are as follows:

Level 2 / 5 Award qualifications: 90
Level 3 / 6 Award qualifications: 120
Level 4 Certificate qualifications: 260

Do I have a qualification deadline date?

Yes. Candidates have 3 years from their registration date to complete all units of a qualification.

Do I need to enrol with Propertymark Qualifications to sit examinations?

Yes. Each candidate must enrol with us to establish their own candidate account and obtain their unique login details.

Please refer to the 'How to Begin' section on the relevant qualification webpage where there is a step by step process for each candidate to follow.

What are the main methods of study?

Candidates must refer to the Qualification Specification document on the relevant qualification webpage, under the subheading 'Useful documents'. This document contains important qualification information such as learning outcomes and assessment criteria. Candidates should use this document to conduct self-research to fully prepare themselves for examinations.

How do I find training resources and support?

Propertymark have worked hard to provide a wide range of online resources, high quality self-study materials and interactive live and recorded webinars, so that you can learn from experts while you study.

There are learning packages available to suit how you learn for selected qualifications. These include entirely online options, access to a wealth of digital resources, or a printed workbook

On Demand programme	Live Online programme
Access to this programme is for 12 months if studying towards your Level 2 or 3 and for three years if studying towards your Level 4. On Demand includes a wide range of high quality pre-recorded material to help you learn, understand and remember the course content. A suggested timetable keeps you on track, while a high quality digital workbook, podcasts, mock tests and pre-recorded webinars provide you with the necessary industry knowledge. Ask your tutor any questions about the study topics on the tutor moderated forum. Discounted packages including a printed workbook are only available as part of a single transaction. Designed to support you in preparing for your exams in just four months, the programme can be completed at a pace that suits you with up to 12 months access to the resources. Delivered entirely online in an interactive environment, the Live Online programme includes: weekly live webinars, access to MOL mock exams, live tutor-led exam technique webinar, a tutor moderated forum, and pre-recorded podcasts for you to learn on the move. In addition, you'll receive a free digital copy of the comprehensive workbook to support you in your study. PRINTED WORKBOOK
Based on Propertymark Qualifications' learning outcomes and assessment criteria, this is the only workbook accredited by Propertymark Qualifications. The workbooks are designed to be an essential guide for property professionals, with each worbook unit relating to one of the final exams, with self-check questions so you can check your understanding of the material.
