Who are Pearson Vue?

Pearson Vue are our test centre supplier and have around 140 locations nationally.  Candidates must attend UK Pearson Vue test centres to sit examinations.


Where are examinations held?

Examinations are held onscreen at UK Pearson Vue test centres. 


How are examinations assessed?

For Level 2 / 5 Award and Level 3 / 6 Technical Award qualifications, examinations are assessed by multiple choice questions.

For Level 4 Certificate qualifications, examinations are assessed either by multiple choice questions or short answer questions, depending on the unit.


What do I need to take to my examinations?

Candidates are required to show TWO forms of identification at a UK Pearson Vue test centre:

Group 1 (which must contain a photograph, name in Roman characters and a signature)
-  Valid Passport
-  Valid EU photocard driving licence (full or provisional)

Group 2 (which must contain a signature)
- Credit Card
- Debit Card

Candidate's identification must match the registered name on their candidate account.  If this doesn't match, candidates will not be permitted to sit their examination(s) and no refund will be given.

Candidates should not book examinations if they do not have the above required identification.  Candidates should contact us directly if they have any queries regarding identification before any examinations are booked.  


How do I let Propertymark Qualifications know of any adjustments I require to examinations?

When completing the enrolment form on our website, there is an additional information box which allows candidates to alert us of any additional needs i.e. dyslexia.  The Propertymark Qualifications team will contact the candidate directly when processing their enrolment form to discuss their needs further and obtain supporting evidence. 


How can I book/cancel or reschedule examinations?

There are two methods:
Candidates can book or make changes to examinations via their online candidate account.
Candidates can call Pearson Vue's booking line (telephone: 0161 8557 537).

Candidates are able to make changes to bookings up to 72 hours prior to the start time of their examination. After this time, no changes can be made and no refund will be given.


Do I know if I have failed/passed an examination immediately?

For multiple choice examinations for Award and Technical Award qualifications, the test centre issues candidates with provisional results immediately after the examination, confirming whether they have passed or failed the unit and the percentage scored.  This sheet also shows the candidate's performance in each syllabus area.

For multiple choice examinations for Certificate qualifications, the test centre issues candidates with provisional results immediately after the examination, confirming whether they have passed or failed the unit and the percentage scored.

For short answer examinations for Certificate qualifications, candidate answers are marked by examiners meaning results cannot be issued to candidates immediately.
